Safety Gloves

EN420:2003 + A1:2009

Protective gloves, general requirements and test methods.

Protective gloves against mechanical risks.

According to this standard, characteristics such as abrasion resistance, cut resistance, tearing strength, puncture resistance and impact protection are tested.  In conjunction with the pictogram, four numbers and one, or two letters will be displayed. These signs indicate the performance of the glove.

Protective gloves against cold.

The gloves are specially designed to protect the hands against cold. The glove’s insulation properties may be affected by e.g. air temperature, humidity, wind speed, time of exposure, activity level, health and well being of the user. If wet, the glove may lose its insulative properties.
